Daily Water Intake Calculator

FreeNothing Is Saved

Daily water needs depend on many factors — weight, activity level, weather — but this tool applies a simple, commonly used reference formula.

This is a general reference formula (approx. 33 ml/kg); it can vary with hot weather, sweating and individual needs.

How Is Daily Water Intake Calculated?

There are various approaches to estimating daily water needs; this tool applies a widely used reference formula of approximately 33 ml per kilogram of body weight. For people who exercise regularly, an additional 500 ml is added for every 30 minutes of activity to help offset fluid lost through sweat. Actual water needs vary significantly from person to person based on ambient temperature and humidity, sweat rate, dietary habits, pregnancy/breastfeeding status and certain health conditions. If you have a condition requiring fluid restriction, such as kidney disease, your water intake should always follow your doctor's guidance.
